Bottom-ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule managed to get a fourth victory on Tuesday night. This time they won against twelfth-ranked Nuernberg in Allmendingen 73-61. Ehingen/Urspringschule forced 19 Nuernberg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Nuernberg's players. Nuernberg's coach Ralph Junge rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ehingen/Urspringschule (4-15) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Baunach. Loser Nuernberg dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Chemnitz. Ehingen/Urspringschule will meet league's second-placed Crailsheim Merlins on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nuernberg will play against Karlsruhe PS (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
