Regular Season Round 17: ETB Wohnbau - Itzehoe 78-99

Quite upsetting was ETB Wohnbau's 21-point home defeat in a game versus Itzehoe who smashed hosts . They made 21-of-22 free shots (95.5 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Itzehoe looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Kaimyn Pruitt (203-90, college: Adams St., agency: Aspire Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!). British-Australian point guard Joshua Wilcher (178-91, college: Cent.Wyoming) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and center Adam Touray (208-94) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Itzehoe maintains seventh place in North with 8-9 record. ETB Wohnbau lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Rist Wedel and Oldenburg. Itzehoe will meet at home higher ranked Rostock (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ETB Wohnbau will play against the league's second-placed Artland Dragons and will have a slim chance for a victory.
