Regular Season Round 20: Cazorla - Medacbasket 113-95

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Cazorla (10-3) won against at home 3rd ranked Medacbasket (9-5) 113-95 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Cazorla. Medacbasket was better in second period 33-29. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cazorla had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Medacbasket was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jalen Riley (182-93, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Duran International) who scored 32 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. The other American import guard Quarry Greenaway (190, college: J.and Wales, RI) chipped in a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Five Cazorla players scored in double figures. American forward Deshawn Curtis (198-92, college: Cheyney) produced a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and guard Pablo Imbroda (-95) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Medacbasket's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Cazorla maintains first position in Group D-A with 10-3 record. Loser Medacbasket keeps the third place with five games lost. Cazorla will face Unicaja-Andalucia (#8) in Malaga in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Medacbasket will play at home against Andujar (#10) and hope to win that game.
