Regular Season Round 14: KFUM Central - Nacka Basket 70-80

The game in Stockholm was also quite interesting. Third ranked Nacka Basket (9-3) played at the court of 7th ranked KFUM Central (6-6). Nacka Basket defeated KFUM Central 80-70 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Nacka Basket. KFUM Central was better in fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded KFUM Central 53-41 including a 25-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Nacka Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds. Point guard Caleb Musie (175-95) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Ibrahim Marong (190-91) produced 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Joeffrey-Masabe Paulsson (186-90) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Nacka Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Nacka Basket maintains third position with 9-3 record having just one point less than leader KFUM Fryshuset. KFUM Central at the other side dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Nacka Basket will have a break next round. KFUM Central will play on the road against BG Lulea (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
