Regular Season Round 16: Dijon - Le Mans 85-56

There was no surprise when 16th ranked Le Mans (3-13) was crushed on the road by tenth ranked Dijon (9-6) 85-56 on Monday. Dijon dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Le Mans' 24. Dijon forced 22 Le Mans turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Swiss point guard Noah Burrell (190-97) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 steals and guard Damien Archinard (196-98) who added 16 points during the contest. Four Dijon players scored in double figures. Dijon's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Junior Zero (194-97) responded with 10 points and 4 assists and guard Mathieu Nzita (185-99) scored 8 points and 5 assists. Dijon have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Nanterre. Loser Le Mans keeps the sixteenth position with 13 games lost. Dijon will meet ES Chalonnais (#9) on the road in the next round. Le Mans will play against Nanterre (#7) and hope to secure a win.
