We should mention about the upset which took place in Valladolid, where higher ranked Blancos de Rueda (10-10) lost at home to seventeenth ranked Cocinas.com (6-14) 87-92 on Tuesday. Blancos de Rueda was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 9-point lead after three quarters before a 29-15 charge of Cocinas.com, which allowed them to win the game. Cocinas.com outrebounded Blancos de Rueda 36-22 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Evan Yates (198-91, college: Ashland) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field).
