Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Tallinn: Kalev/Cramo (#1) and TLU/Kalev (#5). Kalev/Cramo (16-0) crushed visiting TLU/Kalev (6-9) by 45 points 98-53. The game without a history. Kalev/Cramo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to TLU/Kalev's 32. Kalev/Cramo forced 21 TLU/Kalev turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by TLU/Kalev's players. It was a great evening for Dutch center Thomas vanderMars (208-90, college: Portland) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. American-Bulgarian power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) helped adding 13 points and 6 rebounds. Five Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (205-93) with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Senegalese center Bamba Fall (217-86, college: SMU) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kalev/Cramo have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-0 record. TLU/Kalev at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Kalev/Cramo will play against Rapla (#4) on the road in the next round. TLU/Kalev's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn Noorteliiga.
