Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Battipaglia (3-16) lost on the road to eighth ranked Roma S.Azzurra (9-8) 63-47 on Wednesday. Roma S.Azzurra outrebounded Battipaglia 43-24 including 30 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for naturalized Dominican guard Yancarlos Jefferson Rodriguez (195-94) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 assists. Cameroonian forward Philippe Bayehe (204-99) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Mattia Norcino (185-93) answered with 17 points and point guard Vincenzo Di-Capua (186-87) added 11 points in the effort for Battipaglia. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Roma S.Azzurra moved-up to seventh place in B. Newly promoted Battipaglia keeps the fifteenth position with 16 games lost. Roma S.Azzurra will face higher ranked Salerno (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
