Regular Season Round 33: Panteras - Soles 84-107

Date: January 25, 2018
10th ranked Panteras (7-20) were outscored at home by third ranked Soles (20-9) with the biggest margin this round 107-84 on Thursday night. Soles shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward John Flowers (200-89, college: W.Virginia, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 29 points. Naturalized Puerto Rican guard Joseph Soto (190-93) chipped in 18 points and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Christophe Massie (206-77, college: Memphis) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import point guard Jaron Martin (178, college: Cal-Irvine) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five Soles and four Panteras players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Soles have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Panteras lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 20 games lost. Soles will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Panteras will play again against the league's second-placed Soles (#2) and hope to secure a win.
