Regular Season Round 16: Yulon Luxgen - Dacin Tigers 62-79

Top ranked Yulon Luxgen (11-8) recorded its eighth loss against fourth ranked Dacin Tigers. Dacin Tigers were defeated by fourth ranked Dacin Tigers (10-8) 79-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Yulon Luxgen. Dacin Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Yulon Luxgen's 36. They outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 49-32 including 37 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 27 rebounds. Guard Yi-Jie Su (182-87) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) replied with 12 points and the former international point guard Wei-Han Lin (178-90) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Yulon Luxgen. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Fubon Braves. Yulon Luxgen at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. They share it with Pauian. Dacin Tigers will play against league's leader Pauian in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yulon Luxgen will play against the league's leader Pauian and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
