Regular Season Round 27: GOCOR-Sozh - Prinemanye 67-75

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eighth ranked Prinemanye (7-18) beat 7th ranked GOCOR-Sozh (7-18) in Gomel 75-67. GOCOR-Sozh was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 25-9 charge of Prinemanye, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 GOCOR-Sozh turnovers. It was a great evening for point guard Maksim Liahchylin (175-98) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. Ukrainian guard Anatoli Konev (192-92) helped adding 12 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Tsimafei Viaroukin (186-93) with 22 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Aleksandr Kopacev (203-95) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Prinemanye moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated GOCOR-Sozh. Prinemanye will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. GOCOR-Sozh will play again at home against Prinemanye (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
