The game in was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Bank of Taiwan (9-9) played at the court of sixth ranked KKL (8-11). KKL defeated Bank of Taiwan 89-78 on Friday. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 52-28 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican center Peter Ramos (222-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds and the former international swingman Jung-Hsuan Chang (192-87) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and guard Po-Sheng Po-Sheng (185-87) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. KKL maintains sixth position with 8-11 record. Bank of Taiwan lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with nine games lost. KKL will meet bottom-ranked Taiwan Beer (#7) in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against Fubon Braves and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
