Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Casvi (3-11) lost to third ranked Villarrobledo (12-3) in Villaviciosa 59-75 on Saturday. Villarrobledo made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American forward Vadal Faniel (201-92, college: Texas A&M Int.) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Senegalese forward Bruno Diatta (208-96) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American-Nigerian guard Deji Ibitayo (193-93, college: Akron, agency: Duran International) answered with 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Alfonso Ortiz (190-99) added 11 points in the effort for Casvi. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Villarrobledo.
