Regular Season Round 19: RAC Basket - GET Vosges 98-82

Very expected game when 14th ranked GET Vosges (7-12) lost on the road to third ranked Rueil (14-5) 98-82 on Saturday. Rueil shot 60.6 percent from the field. Rueil outrebounded GET Vosges 40-28 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a very good performance for American center Kyle Tresnak (208-92, college: Weber St., agency: Athleadz) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Lamine Sambe (188-89) contributed with 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Loic Gigant (196-90) answered with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard William Mensah (175-95) added 15 points and 4 steals in the effort for GET Vosges. Four Rueil and five GET Vosges players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Rueil. They maintain third place with 14-5 record having just three points less than leader Saint Vallier, which they share with Saint-Quentin. Loser GET Vosges keeps the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Rueil will face Lourdes-Tarbes (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. GET Vosges will play against the league's leader Saint Vallier and hope to win that game.
