The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Faenza's (12-7) road victory over 7th ranked Forli Tigers (10-9) 80-70 on Sunday. Point guard Marco Perin (185-93) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. Power forward Michael Sacchettini (205-95, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 24 points and 7 rebounds and guard Gianluca Carpanzano (188-95) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Forli Tigers. Forli Tigers' coach Giampaolo Di Lorenzo rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Faenza have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Vicenza and Lecco. Loser Forli Tigers keep the seventh position with nine games lost. Faenza will face league's second-placed Piacenza at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Forli Tigers will play against Tessilform Bernareggio (#12) and hope to win that game.
