Very predictable result in Beer Sheva where fourth ranked Hapoel B/S (11-5) defeated 10th ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (6-10) 77-64 on Tuesday. Worth to mention a great performance of American Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: Ron Sport) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Andell Cumberbatch (196-93, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Hapoel B/S's coach Yaniv Burger used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American guard Byron Wesley (196-92, college: Gonzaga, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Eitan Rotemberg (198-91) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel B/S have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Maccabi K/G and Elitzur K-A. Loser Hapoel Kfar Saba keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Hapoel B/S will face Maccabi Raanana (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Hapoel Kfar Saba will play against Hapoel Galilee in Kazrin and hope to win that game.
