Regular Season Round 22: Enea Astoria - Spojnia 76-88

Leader Spojnia delivered the twentieth win on Wednesday night. This time they beat 12th ranked Enea Astoria (7-13) 88-76 in Bydgoszcz. Spojnia forced 22 Enea Astoria turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Hubert Pabian (201-89) fired 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Alan Czujkowski (199-90) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists. Four Spojnia players scored in double figures. Pawel Spica (190-93) produced 21 points and center Lukasz Frackiewicz (205-96) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spojnia (20-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Enea Astoria at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Nysa Klodzko. Spojnia are looking forward to face Polfarmex (#4) in Kutno in the next round. Enea Astoria will play on the road against Notec Inowr. (#16) in Inowroclaw and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
