Regular Season Round 31: Silute - Ezerunas 92-66

There was no surprise when 7th ranked Ezerunas (15-15) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Silute (21-10) 92-66 on Friday. Silute looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American forward Jeff Perkins (198-93, college: Hawaii-Hilo) fired 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import point guard Caleb Oetjen (183-94, college: Bethel, IN) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Silute players scored in double figures. Jonas Zakas (192-97) produced 16 points and 4 assists and guard Arnas Adomavicius (190-0) added 7 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Silute moved-up to third place. Loser Ezerunas dropped to the eighth position with 15 games lost. Silute will face Taurages (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ezerunas will play against Neptunas-Akv. and hope to win that game.
