Regular Season Round 21: Polonia Bytom - AZS AGH Krk. 75-82

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Polonia Bytom (9-12) was defeated at home by first ranked AZS AGH Krk. (19-1) 82-75 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Spanish guard Miguel Zamora (189-93) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Bartosz Czerwonka (189-89) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. AZS AGH Krk.'s coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Norbert Kujon (194-92) who recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Krzysztof Kurdubski (199-87) added 10 points and 15 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for AZS AGH Krk.. They maintain first place in Group C with 19-1 record. Loser Polonia Bytom keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. AZS AGH Krk. will face Pogon RS (#6) in Ruda Slaska in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Polonia Bytom will play on the road against Rzeszow and hope to win that game.
