Al Arabi nipped Al Wakrah to celebrate D1 title. Al Arabi brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Senegalese center Oumar Seck (208-88) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds for the winners and American swingman William Byrd (201-85, college: Ark.-Pine Bluff) chipped in 24 points and 4 blocks. At the losing side American point guard Marcus Johnson-Jr (180-95, college: UALR) responded with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (196-91, college: Missouri, agency: MKP Management) scored 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
