Regular Season Round 21: Dziki Wwa - Zubry 65-93

No shocking result in a game in Warszawa where fourth ranked Zubry (14-5) smashed 10th ranked Dziki Wwa (5-14) 93-65 on Saturday. Zubry dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Dziki Wwa's 26. They outrebounded Dziki Wwa 43-28 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Zubry especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) who scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Michal Wielechowski (198-94) chipped in 18 points. Four Zubry players scored in double figures. Zubry's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Krzysztof Grudzien (196-92) who recorded 18 points and center Piotr Wojcik (195-87) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Zubry moved-up to third place in Group B. Dziki Wwa lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Zubry will face league's second-placed LKS MG13 Lodz at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dziki Wwa's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Warszawa to the arena Legia 2 W-wa.
