Regular Season Round 19: Fellbach - Langen 84-81

Date: February 4, 2018
There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Fellbach (9-9) edged at home higher ranked TV Langen (10-7) 84-81 on Sunday. It was a great evening for forward Nils-Frederik Menck (203-82) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Marco Schlafke (187-82, agency: Athleadz) helped adding 15 points. At the losing side American forward Nick Smith (203-95, college: Belmont) responded with 30 points and 5 rebounds and Lukas Beuschlein (189-95) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Five Fellbach and four TV Langen players scored in double figures. Fellbach maintains ninth place in South-West with 9-9 record. Loser TV Langen keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Fellbach will face higher ranked Koblenz (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TV Langen will play against Limburg and hope to win that game.
