There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Pescara (11-9) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Porto S.Elpidio (11-9) 71-67 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Simone Zanotti (208-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and forward Diego Torresi (200-92) who added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Porto S.Elpidio's coach Massimiliano Domizioli used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Ennio Leonzio (191-94) responded with 16 points and forward Mathias Drigo (203-89, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points. Despite that victory Porto S.Elpidio went down to eighth position (B) due to points difference. Porto S.Elpidio will face Nardo (#11) on the road in the next round.
