Regular Season Round 20: Senigallia - Giulianova 88-61

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Giulianova (9-11) was outplayed on the road by eighth ranked Senigallia (11-9) 88-61 on Sunday. Senigallia forced 20 Giulianova turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Argentinian point guard Emiliano Paparella (184-83, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Senigallia's coach Stefano Foglietti felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nicola Bastone (196-92) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Danilo Gallerini (185-80) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Senigallia moved-up to fourth place in B. Loser Giulianova dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Senigallia will face Cerignola Udas (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Giulianova will play against Ortona (#16) and hope to win that game.
