Very expected game when 8th ranked Padova (9-11) was defeated at home by third ranked Crema (15-5) 67-59 on Sunday. Strangely Padova outrebounded Crema 36-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Andrea Dagnello (189-91) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Francesco Paolin (190-95) who added 9 points, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Forward Enrico Crosato (196-85) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Lorenzo De-Zardo (199-99, agency: Players Group) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Crema have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Piacenza. Loser Padova dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Crema will face Palermo GB (#14) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Padova will play against Vicenza (#6) and hope to win that game.
