Rather expected game in L´Hospitalet where 8th ranked Sant Adria (7-9) was defeated by fifth ranked AEC Collblanc (9-5) 91-80 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-80. AEC Collblanc dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Sant Adria's 28. AEC Collblanc forced 24 Sant Adria turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was center Angel Soto (205-90) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Point guard Marc Pages (178-95) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Power forward Alberto Reyes (195-90) produced 17 points and 9 rebounds and center Oscar Amo (204-97) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sant Adria's coach Mario Lousame gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. AEC Collblanc maintains fifth place in Group C-A with 9-5 record. Sant Adria lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. AEC Collblanc will face Quart (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sant Adria will play against Tarragona (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
