Liceo Frances led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 23-of-25 free shots (92.0 percent) during the game. Liceo Frances forced 20 Teguise turnovers and outrebounded them 41-29 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Marcos Martin (197-90) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Ignacio Rodriguez (201-94) chipped in 8 points and 15 rebounds. Four Liceo Frances players scored in double figures. Latvian guard Dzeiks-Eduards Krumins (186-97) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Ray Anderson (190, college: Virginia Union) added 16 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Liceo Frances moved-up to fourteenth place in Group B, which they share with Casvi. Teguise lost their fourteenth game in a row. Teguise at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. Liceo Frances will face Casvi (#14) in Villaviciosa in the next round. Teguise will play on the road against Alcobendas and hope to win that game.
