The game in Komarno supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Iskra Svit (18-14) played at the court of sixth ranked Rieker KN (18-14). Rieker KN smashed Iskra Svit 97-69 on Saturday. Rieker KN forced 19 Iskra Svit turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Slovenian guard Boban Tomic (190-88) who scored 21 points and 9 assists. American forward Miles Bowman-Jr (198-93, college: High Point) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Five Rieker KN players scored in double figures. Coach Milos Sporar's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international forward Pavol Losonsky (203-88, college: Cal-Irvine) produced 24 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Anthony Jackson (196-89, college: Florida Tech) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Rieker KN have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Iskra Svit. Rieker KN will meet at home Karlovka (#7) in the next round. Iskra Svit will play against Handlova and hope to secure a win.
