Regular Season Round 21: Brose Bask. - B.Muenchen 63-71

BBL top team - Bayern Muenchen (18-1) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat tenth ranked Brose Baskets (10-9) in Bamberg 71-63. It was a good game for international Danilo Barthel (208-91) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 9 rebounds. American center Devin Booker (205-91, college: Clemson) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American-Italian guard Daniel Hackett (199-87, college: USC) answered with 12 points and 6 assists and American forward Dorell Wright (206-85) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Brose Baskets. Four Bayern Muenchen and five Brose Baskets players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayern Muenchen have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 18-1 record. Brose Baskets lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keep the tenth position with nine games lost. Bayern Muenchen are looking forward to face BG Goettingen (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Brose Baskets will play against Science City Jena (#13) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
