Regular Season Round 23: Ardoi - Easo 53-76

Very expected game in Zizur Mayor where 11th ranked Ardoi (7-13) was rolled over by fourth ranked Easo (14-6) 76-53 on Sunday. The game without a history. Easo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Ardoi turnovers and outrebounded them 42-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Mikel Sanz (195-99) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Jon Urtxulutegi (201-96) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Easo players scored in double figures. Naturalized Ukrainian forward Anton Savitski (196-86) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and guard Ignacio Urtasun (187-80) added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Easo moved-up to third place in Group A-A, which they share with Pielagos and Santurtzi. Loser Ardoi keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Easo will face league's leader Estela in Santander in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ardoi will play at home against Burgos (#7) and hope to win that game.
