No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (8-10) crushed at home 12th ranked Hasharon (6-12) 95-75 on Tuesday. It was a good game for American power forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. The other American import guard Byron Wesley (196-92, college: Gonzaga, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Hapoel Kfar Saba players scored in double figures. Hapoel Kfar Saba's coach Yossi Bonen used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Vernon Teel (193-87, college: Loyola Mary) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists and Yotam Shiran (198-90) added 20 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Hasharon. Hapoel Kfar Saba moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Elitzur Yavne and Hap.Haifa. Hasharon lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Hapoel Kfar Saba will face Hapoel Migd.H. (#13) in Tarshicha in the next round where they are favorite. Hasharon will play at home against Hapoel Galilee and hope to win that game.
