We should mention about the upset which took place in , where 11th ranked Marousi (8-10) lost to fourteenth ranked Karditsas (5-13) in a road game 77-88. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Marousi. Marousi was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 44-29 second half run of Karditsas. They made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Marousi helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian center Stefan Djordjevic (206-89) notched 21 points to lead the effort and point guard Giorgos Trihopoulos (184-87) supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Even 17 points and 6 assists by Orfeas Stasinos did not help to save the game for Marousi. Guard Christos Dakoulias (186-87) added 15 points.
