No shocking result in a game when third ranked Huelva (10-8) edged at home 5th ranked Benahavis (8-10) 62-59 on Saturday. Benahavis was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 21-14 charge of Huelva, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American forward Colton Lewis (206, college: Virginia Union) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Fulgencio Casanova (195-86) contributed with 7 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Huelva's coach Javier Walls used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American Willie Williams (-88) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists and Senegalese forward Serigne Sow (202-94) added 10 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Benahavis. Huelva maintains third position in Group D-B with 10-8 record having five points less than leader Vic. Newly promoted Benahavis dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
