Regular Season Round 17: KFUM Blackeberg - Jamtland II 105-100

Everything went according to plan in Vallingby where second ranked KFUM Blackeberg (13-3) beat 7th ranked Jamtland II (7-7) 105-100 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Jamtland II was trailing by 11 points at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 23-16 charge of KFUM Blackeberg, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Joacim Edlund (195-93) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and forward Oliver-Silveira Ovrebo (193-98) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. KFUM Blackeberg's coach Adam Engstrom used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Daniel Johansson (198-98) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Oliver Gehrke (200-0) scored 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KFUM Blackeberg maintains second place with 13-3 record behind leader KFUM Fryshuset. Loser Jamtland II keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. KFUM Blackeberg will face Taby Basket (#4) on the road in the next round. Jamtland II will play against KFUM Uppsala and hope to win that game.
