Ninth-ranked Trelleborg (4-14) made lots of trouble for third ranked AIK Basket (16-5). The visitors from Solna managed to secure only two-point victory 93-91. However their fans expected much easier game. Trelleborg cut a 15-point first quarter deficit to two at the end of the game. Turkish guard Erkan Inan (195-89) notched 39 points (!!!) (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Serbian Lazar Radosavljevic (204-91, agency: Alti Sport) supported him with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 27 points and 14 assists by guard Jordan Gerami Lou (-97) did not help to save the game for Trelleborg. Australian guard John Fitzgerald (193-84, college: Lindsey Wilson) added 23 points and 7 rebounds. Four Trelleborg players scored in double figures. AIK Basket have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 16-5 record having just four point less than leader Koping Stars. Trelleborg at the other side keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. AIK Basket's next round opponent will be Alvik Basket (#5) in Stockholm.
