Regular Season Round 24: Quart - Roser 73-60

There was no surprise when 14th ranked Roser (4-14) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Quart (5-12) 73-60 on Sunday. Quart had a 28-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Cuban guard Sigal Benitez (193-94) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Pau Vila (190-90) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Quart players scored in double figures. Albert Sulleva replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and Pol Huertas added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Roser. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Quart went down to thirteenth position (Group C-A) due to points difference. Roser lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth place with 14 games lost. Quart will face higher ranked Tarragona (#7) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Roser will play against the league's leader Vive El Masnou (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
