No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Polonia Bytom (10-12) won against at home 14th ranked Cracovia (3-18) 82-66 on Sunday. Polonia Bytom shot 61.5 percent from the field. Polonia Bytom outrebounded Cracovia 33-16 including a 23-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for point guard Tomasz Wrobel (186-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Jakub Pawlak (198-93) helped adding 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Polonia Bytom players scored in double figures. Polonia Bytom's coach used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Swingman Radoslaw Skubinski (190-0) responded with 21 points and point guard Kacper Nowak (185-99) scored 18 points. Polonia Bytom maintains eighth place in Group C with 10-12 record. Cracovia lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. Polonia Bytom will face Rybnik (#13) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Cracovia will play against Pogon RS and hope to win that game.
