Regular Season Round 23: San Severo - Giulianova 81-63

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Giulianova (10-13) was defeated on the road by first ranked San Severo (21-2) 81-63 on Sunday. San Severo looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for forward Emidio Di-Donato (198-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Leonardo Ciribeni (190-92) helped adding 16 points and 4 assists. Point guard Antonello Ricci (190-92, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Nicola Bastone (196-92) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. San Severo maintains first place in B with 21-2 record. Loser Giulianova dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost. San Severo will face Porto S.Elpidio (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Giulianova will play against Civitanova and hope to win that game.
