Very expected game when 16th ranked Samsun (5-18) was smashed by seventh ranked Bandirma Kir. (14-9) in Balikesir 79-56. Bandirma Kir. outrebounded Samsun 52-33 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Samsun helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Sedat Karagulle (-99) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Berke Atar chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Bandirma Kir. players scored in double figures. The former international Ulug Kacaniku (202-85) produced 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Deniz Cevik (194-94, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests.
