We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tampere where 8th ranked Aanekosken Huima (7-13) was defeated by ninth ranked Raholan Pyrkiva (7-13) 81-72 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 24-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Raholan Pyrkiva made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard Lauri Tiainen (193-90) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Sauli Sukanen (197-90) chipped in 18 points. Swingman Jarmo Uecker (189-95) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Henry Boyd (178-99) added 16 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Raholan Pyrkiva moved-up to eighth place in Division. Raholan Pyrkiva will face Espoo Basket (#10) on the road in the next round. Aanekosken Huima will play against HyPo in Hyvinkaa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
