An interesting game took place in Akhisar where higher ranked Antalyaspor (17-7) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Akhisar Bld (12-12) 79-68 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Antalyaspor. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Akhisar Bld players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward CJ Leslie (206-91, college: N.Carolina St.) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Emir Gokalp (185-95) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Akhisar Bld moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Bakirkoy. Newly promoted Antalyaspor keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Akhisar Bld will face higher ranked Acibadem (#6) in Istanbul in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Antalyaspor will play at home against Samsun and hope to win that game.
