It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Meralco Bolts. They outrebounded Meralco Bolts 50-39 including 37 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Paul Lee (185-89) who helped to win the game recording 21 points. Naturalized American guard Justin Melton (180-87, college: Mount Olive) contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners.
