Leader Atomeromu delivered the fifteenth win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked Vasas Akademia (4-13) 86-67 in Szekszard. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Atomeromu outrebounded Vasas Akademia 32-19 including 20 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was international forward Livia Gereben (183-99) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. International point guard Agnes Studer (168-98, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian-American guard Ezinne Kalu (173-92, college: Savannah St.) who recorded 15 points and power forward Beatrix Meresz (184-99) added 12 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Atomeromu maintains first position with 15-1 record. Vasas Akademia at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. Atomeromu are looking forward to face league's second-placed Sopron Basket on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vasas Akademia will play against PEAC-Pecs (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
