Very expected game when bottom-ranked Libertas (0-24) were defeated on the road by second ranked Firenze All Foods (19-5) 76-68 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was swingman Jacopo Lucarelli (197-96, agency: Players Group) who scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Alessandro Grande (183-94) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was center Mattia Soloperto (208-80) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and guard Andrea Giampaoli (185-90) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively. Four Libertas players scored in double figures. Firenze All Foods maintains second position in B with 19-5 record having just two points less than leader San Severo. Newly promoted Libertas still closes the standings with 24 games lost. Firenze All Foods will face Varese Robur (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Libertas will play against Oleggio and hope to get finally their first victory.
