Regular Season Round 24: Carbajosa - Ponferrada CDP 97-85

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Carbajosa and 5th ranked Ponferrada CDP had identical 11-10 record. This time Carbajosa used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Ponferrada 97-85 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Carbajosa. Ponferrada CDP was better in second period 28-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Carbajosa looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ponferrada CDP's coach Juan Norat rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Carbajosa (12-10) moved-up to fourth place in Group A-B, which they share with Leon and Betanzos. Loser Ponferrada CDP dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. Carbajosa will face Obradoiro II (#12) in Santiago de Comp in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ponferrada CDP will play at home against Coruna II (#15) and hope to win that game.
