Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Imola (12-11) defeated at home 15th ranked Roseto Sharks (4-19) 84-73 on Sunday. Imola made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Roseto Sharks were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American Jeremiah Wilson (205-88, college: Tarleton St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import point guard David Bell (188-81, agency: 3Eye) helped adding 12 points. Five Imola players scored in double figures. Imola's coach Demis Cavina used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized American point guard Matt Carlino (189-92, college: Marquette) responded with 28 points and 5 rebounds and Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Imola maintains eleventh place in A2 with 12-11 record. Loser Roseto Sharks keep the fifteenth position with 19 games lost.
