We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Stockholm where 8th ranked Swedish Alvik (1-14) was rolled over by ninth ranked Estonian BA Tallinn Kalev (8-7) 91-41 on Sunday. The game without a history. BA Tallinn Kalev led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Alvik's 24. BA Tallinn Kalev forced 31 Alvik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Alvik's players. The best player for the winners was center Hendry Engelbrecht (199-99) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Guard Marcus Merimaa (190-0) chipped in 15 points. Four BA Tallinn Kalev players scored in double figures. BA Tallinn Kalev's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was David Jolinder (-1) who recorded 17 points and Bakary Silah (-98) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively. BA Tallinn Kalev moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Barsy. Loser Alvik dropped to the sixteenth position with 14 games lost.
