Very predictable result in Risskov where second ranked Bakken (17-3) smashed bottom-ranked Stevnsgade (2-17) 112-81. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Stevnsgade's 38. Bakken forced 26 Stevnsgade turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Stevnsgade's players. It was a very good performance for Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Sylvester Berg (201-98) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. Bakken's coach Steffen Wich felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. FYR Macedonian forward Boris Vukicevic (190-98) answered with 20 points and 7 assists and the former international forward Mathias Seilund (204-90, college: Fair Dickinson) added 25 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Stevnsgade. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Bakken. Defending champion maintains second place with 17-3 record behind leader Horsens IC. Stevnsgade lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Bakken's next round opponent will be Svendborg (#6) on the road. Stevnsgade will play against Horsholm and hope to win that game.
