No shocking result in a game in Telsiu where ninth ranked Telsiai (17-20) smashed 13th ranked Delikatesas (7-30) 79-60. Telsiai dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Delikatesas' 28. Telsiai forced 23 Delikatesas turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard Erikas Kubilius (194-95) nailed 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and center Deividas Keburys (202-90) accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Telsiai players scored in double figures. Point guard Dominikas Matutis (180-91) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and forward Rytis Biliartas (202-91) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Delikatesas in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Telsiai maintains ninth place with 17-20 record, which they share with Taurages. Delikatesas lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 30 games lost. Telsiai's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Palanga (#14) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game. Delikatesas will play against Zalgiris II and hope to win that game.
