American guard Briahanna Jackson (168-93, college: Louisville) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Thayna Silva (180-96) who recorded 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international point guard Lays Da Silva (168-98) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. SBC/Brazolin/UNIP's coach Marcio Bellicieri gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sampaio have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 6-2 record having just two points less than leader Campinas. SBC/Brazolin/UNIP lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Sampaio will face Blumenau (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. SBC/Brazolin/UNIP will play against the league's leader Campinas and hope to win that game.
